110min — The Obscura Experience
From posture to shadow, the five senses.
The Obscura Experience begins with a full body postural assessment. We observe alignment, tension, and movement so we can map what your body is asking in the moment. If you choose, from here we can outline a plan for future sessions. Then we slow down. We invite what needs attention to come forward, and the work unfolds at its own pace through hands, presence, structure, and pause.
Five-Senses Immersion (subtle, optional, and tailored)
Touch & Heat — You’ll rest on a HealthyLine Platinum series Biomat layered with gemstones and gentle far infrared warmth (with PEMF and photon light). Stones used in this series include amethyst, jade, obsidian, quartz, and tourmaline.
Sound — A curated soundscape blends solfeggio tuned tones with binaural style beat textures to support a slower, steadier rhythm. A binaural beat is an auditory illusion created from two slightly different tones, your brain perceives a gentle “third” pulse; we keep the experience spacious and non-intrusive.
Scent (opt-in) — Chakra based aromatherapy, only if you’re not scent sensitive. We choose one center to highlight based on assessment and insights.
Taste — A chakra organic tea pairing at the end simple, grounding, and chosen to echo the themes that surfaced.
Sight — In the Obscura Experience, sight is not stimulated but quieted. A dim room, softened edges, and the option of a simple warm eye pillow invite the eyes to rest so the body can listen more deeply.
Why chakras here (the Obscura lens)
I use the chakra map as a shared language for places we can’t point to on an anatomy chart where memory, mood, breath, and meaning cross. It’s not dogma; it’s a compass. Oils and teas are chosen to mirror what showed up in session, not to force an outcome.
Why Shadow Work
At Knead Obscura, shadow is not a flaw to erase but a landscape to enter. It is the grief lodged in the chest, the tension in the jaw, the silence that hums beneath the skin. Most people try to bypass these places, but here they are invited to breathe. I use the term shadow work because the body keeps what the mind avoids. Through touch and presence, and my own take on energy healing called Vibrational Reprogramming those unseen layers are mirrored rather than pushed away. Nothing is forced. Nothing is removed. What rises in shadow is allowed to exist, and in being met, it begins to shift on its own.
Think of it as a heart to heart with your deepest, darkest emotions, the ones you’ve survived. Shared with someone who has walked through the same terrain. Only here, the conversation happens in silence, so the energy can evolve in its own language.
